Gentlemen, Back in 1208, when the BVM appeared to St. Dominick in the Chapel of Notre Dame and instructed him to teach the masses to pray the Rosary. All of Europe was in disarray and massive self destruction mode. The entire continent was at war. The plague was in full swing. Pagan hoards from the East were raiding and killing everything they came in contact with, but the Christian soldiers armed themselves with the Rosary and defeated evil. Today, the battles are different, but the Catholic Church is under attack by many different sources, equipped with modern technology. I think it’s time to crank up the Rosaries again and fend off evil and it begins with us KC’s. For the rest of the school year, I’ll be crafting most of the monthly lecturer material around the Rosary, in hopes of helping some to find common ground with some of the different themed articles that will follow.
